Elementary School
Breakfast is served before the start of the school day at Bakersville, Beech, Gossler, Highland-Goffe’s Falls, McDonough, Northwest, Parker-Varney, Webster, and Wilson Schools. Students who are eligible for free or reduced lunch are eligible for free or reduced breakfast. Lunch is served at all schools.

Applications for reduced price and free lunches will be distributed during the first week of school. Lunch money is collected every Friday for the next week’s lunches.

Middle and High Schools
Breakfast and lunch are served at all middle and high schools. Middle and high school cafeterias have a snack bar as well as regular cafeteria selections. Prices for breakfast vary.

Lunch Cards- Students are issued lunch cards which function like debit cards. This speeds up the process of getting students through the lunch lines. Parents can send in cash or checks to put in your child’s account.

Applications for free and reduced lunch are sent home during the first week of school.

Lunch menus -- A printed lunch menu is distributed to elementary school students each month. Weekly menus including middle and high school options are published in the local newspapers. Change of home address

It is important to keep contact information up to date in case of emergencies. If you move, change jobs, or change phone numbers, be sure to contact the school. You can call the school, stop by the front office, send a note in with your child, or e-mail the principal.
