Gifted and Talented Children

If you suspect that your child may be gifted, visit the Greater Manchester Alliance for the Gifted (GMAG) website at http://www.allianceforthegifted.org/faq.html and see if your child matches the common characteristics of gifted children that are listed there.

Then, you may wish to contact GMAG, which offers support and information to families of gifted children at 644-1403.

The Manchester School District has a program for gifted children in grades 4 and 5 at Bakersville, Highland-Goffe’s Falls, Jewett, Parker-Varney and Webster Schools called LEAP (Learners with Exceptional Academic, Artistic, and Altruistic Potential). Students may be nominated for the program by teachers or parents.
